Conservation Work Party

Where: 8 Acre Woods

When: Saturday, June 13 (2nd Saturday), 10:00a-12:00p

What: Join us as we pioneer the first-ever volunteer work parties for the new park addition, 8 Acre Woods. Throughout the summer, we will work with the Rolling Bay Community to enhance the native plant landscape through invasive, non-native plant removal. Be sure to dress for the weather, wear durable/long-sleeved attire (as we’ll be among blackberry!), bring a reusable water bottle (we’ll have water to share), and wear closed-toe shoes.

This work party will be best for those ages 8 and up, who don’t mind tackling blackberry and navigate well on uneven terrain off trail. We hope to see you there!
