Community Grants are awarded to capital improvement projects that enhance our parks, trails and recreational opportunities. Individuals or clubs that are not nonprofit organizations but want to apply must partner with Bainbridge Metro Parks or City of Bainbridge Island on their project.

Grants were awarded to Bainbridge Island Japanese American Exclusion Memorial Association – Exclusion Memorial site access improvements at Pritchard Park; Bainbridge Island Little League – softball equipment storage shed at Strawberry Hill Park; EcoAdapt – brass plaques for Sea-level rise monument at Fay Bainbridge Park; Friends of Bainbridge High School Sailing – sailboat covers; West Sound Wildlife Shelter – Purple Martin bird nesting boxes at Strawberry Hill Park; Bainbridge Island Rowing – safety launch outboard motor replacement
