A DESTINATION ‘SWIMMIN’ HOLE’ ON PORT MADISON

The new Hidden Cove Park dock boasts an  ADA-accessible overwater pier, ramp and dock floats in at Hidden Cove Park, on the south shore of Port Madison.

The dock has become a popular destination for local swimmers and paddleboarders, and other park visitors enjoying the views of picturesque Port Madison.Go swimming, launch a paddle board or just enjoy the view.

The dock was dedicated in spring 2018 with funding from the Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District, Washington State Recreation & Conservation Office and Aquatic Lands Enhancement Account, and many private donors through the Bainbridge Island Parks Foundation.

Bainbridge artist Michele Van Slyke created stamped metal fish plaques that line the pier, honoring significant contributors to the project.
