Bike/ped/roll safety at 305/HS Road comment period
Woodward Middle School 9125 Sportsman Club Road, Bainbridge Island, United StatesGet involved today to ensure safe design for all Sound to Olympics Trail users, as the Washington State Department of Transportation plans a roundabout for the SR-305/High School Road intersection. The planned roundabout intersects with the Sound to Olympics Trail, nexus of the island’s nonmotorized network and the community’s commitment to walking, biking and rollability. The Bainbridge Island Parks & Trails Foundation, Squeaky Wheels, Sustainable Bainbridge and Puget Sound to Pacific Collaborative encourage islanders to get involved as the intersection is planned. Key dates: Feb. 11 – WSDOT Public Open House, 5-7 p.m., Woodward Middle School Feb. 2-20 – Comment online at the WSDOT Online Open House.
